What Tom Likes06/11/01In regards to computers, I really dig name brand stuff. I got a hold of an old Compac desktop computer. Basically it's for parts. What I like is the build quality. It's just so rugged, with its thick metal case and tough support beams on the inside, with a silky smooth fan on the power supply. It's heavy too. I'm cheap, so when I put together a new computer I don't think about casings, fans or power supplies, but just once I'd concider it. I said it before my last upgrade, but I didn't do it. Oh well. I could always gut the inside of the Compac and fill it with new stuff. I won't do that either. Maybe next time. Previous | Next | Archive |
