| 05/21/01 A very low key Victoria Day. It's a holiday, everythings closed, plus it was raining all day. I stayed in, didn't even bother with a shower. This did however give me a chance to finish the upgrade on my old computer. Today, I wiped the drive and installed Win98 SE. Runs great. I'm almost impressed with microsoft. Almost. Now I need me about 50' of ethernet cable and I've got me a network. Hmm. Might be getting a 3rd computer, to act as an internet gateway for my cable modem. It'll be an even older machine, and it will be free. It's fun getting my hands dirty again. It's been a while since I've played with a computer. I spent the afternoon and evening watching StarTrek DS9, about 5 episodes of a marathon Space is showing, followed by 2 episodes of Voyager. At least there are somethings you can count on.
