| 05/19/01 We was supposed to go to Mosport to watch the Speed Vision GT/Touring car races. When we got there, the gentlemen at the gate informed us that we had to buy tickets for both Saturday($20-today) and Sunday($40), and apon leaving we could get back our money for the Sunday ticket. We left. The bastard!! Instead we watched a movie, then I went home and worked on my old PC. I swapped out the sound card with only minor problems. Swapped out the video card, very easy. Everything worked, cept I was not happy with the DOS CD-Rom drivers. So, instead of leaving well enough alone, I installed Windows drivers for an old 4xPanasonic CD-rom. Now it doesn't boot up at all, unless I disconnect the CD-Rom. Man, sometimes life sucks. I've spent about an hour already trying to get it working. I think i'll leave it for another time. Or maybe I'll just drop kick the whole thing. |
